Sustainability has always been a priority, and we are committed to making our company operations climate neutral to preserve the beauty of the world around us.Who You Are: You are a skilled and enthusiastic, high-performing professional who is passionate about hair care and wants to positively contribute to the growth of our iconic brand as well as to our people first culture.About The Role Reporting to the Director, Regulatory Affairs, the Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for supporting registration/regulatory needs to maintain and further develop the regulatory capability, to support global innovation projects, and to address business issues to meet business goals.This role is hybrid and will work onsite at our Santa Clarita, CA offices 3 times a week.What You Will Do:Develop and implement regulatory strategies and processes to ensure timely global commercialization of products in compliance with applicable regulations and standardsAuthor technical documents for products to be distributed in the EUPrepare international documentation to support product registration internationallyFile all new product notifications and update current notifications with Health CanadaMaintain regulatory archives and product registration databasesGather raw material documentation for all JPMS raw materials that could be used in JPMS products and ensure documentation is complete and up to dateReview documentation received from Manufacturers regarding finished products and file where appropriateKeeping abreast of evolving regulations to support our product development and commercialization effortsConduct regulatory assessments of product formulas, packaging, and labeling to ensure compliance with local and international regulationsCollaborate with quality assurance and R&D teams to ensure compliance with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and other relevant quality standardsRequirements:Skills:Ability to manage multiple regulatory projects with concurrent or competing deadlines while working closely with other team members and departmentsStrong knowledge of federal regulationsWorking knowledge of EU and other international regulationsKnowledge of product labeling and related requirementsStrong experience and knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel and basic operating systemsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentEducation:High school diploma or GED requiredExperience:3+ years’ experience in Regulatory AffairsExperience with the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, such as product registration dossiers and technical files, as well as label reviewSkills:Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience using Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (Optiva/Infor)Education:Bachelor’s degree in science discipline preferredExperience:International experience and global knowledge of cosmetic legislation/registration frameworks preferredWe are eager to meet people who believe in our mission and can contribute to our team in a variety of ways - not just candidates who check all the boxes. Working ConditionsOffice environmentCompetitive Compensation:The expected base hourly range for this position is $38.46 to $43.27.
