DevOps Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:You will serve as a Platform Engineer, responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure platforms to support the growing demands of our applications and data operations. This role will focus on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure while working closely with development and operations teams.• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on Azure and AWS.• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using modern tools to ensure smooth deployment processes.• Expertise in adopting innovation in the workplace• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.• Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate Databricks ensuring it is efficiently managed, optimized, and integrated with our data strategies.• Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.• Administer and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability.• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.• Monitor and manage Linux servers, ensuring system stability and security.• Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect and address issues.• Ensure compliance with security best practices, including PKI management and API security.• Optimize network configurations and troubleshoot complex networking issues to ensure seamless communication between services.• Work with InfoSec team and mitigate the vulnerabilities.• Provide on-call support as needed to maintain system uptime and address critical issues.• Have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to try new practices and spearhead adoption• Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation and engineering.· Partners closely with Infrastructure, InfoSec teams and software vendors to deploy solutions in Azure Cloud environment.· Support through Center of Excellence, provide guidance on best practices, mentoring key techniques for performance improvement and optimizations in report development and design to achieve optimal visualizations.QUALIFICATIONS:Basic Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.· 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure and AWS environments.
