As we continue to expand, we remain committed to building a team that shares our passion for quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction.The OpportunityStarbird is looking for a passionate and experienced District Manager to lead our operations across Southern California. This pivotal leadership role offers the chance to drive the continued growth and success of our brand.The District Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance, development, and compliance of multiple Starbird locations, ensuring that each restaurant operates at the highest standard. This role is essential to maintaining our brand integrity, supporting and developing our General Managers (GMs) and Assistant General Managers (AGMs), and ensuring consistent execution of Starbird's core values, hospitality excellence, and operational systems.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesConduct weekly location visits and operational audits to ensure brand and service standards are metFollow up on audit results to track progress and implement corrective actions where neededDevelop, evaluate, and coach unit-level management teams to drive performance and accountabilityCreate and enforce customer service and hospitality standardsAnalyze and act upon P&L statements and financial reports; work with GMs to identify opportunities and celebrate successesMonitor labor productivity; collaborate with GMs to optimize scheduling and manage labor costs within budgetSupport and participate in new store openings, assisting with planning, setup, and trainingLead by example-create a culture of positivity, operational excellence, and team collaborationIdentify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service qualityCommunicate effectively with GMs and AGMs through daily updates via phone, text, email, and/or SlackEnsure operational systems and IT tools are functioning properly and utilized effectivelySupport the development and maintenance of business systems for ongoing improvementRequirementsEntrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and problem-solving skillsExcellent multitasking abilities and a team-first attitudeStrong verbal and written communication skills; able to engage effectively with all team levelsReliable, responsible, and committed to upholding Starbird's values and standardsNaturally energetic, outgoing, and hospitable personalityAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPhysical capability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periodsMust be able to tolerate temperature variations (kitchen, freezer, outdoors)ServSafe Manager Certification required (or ability to obtain)Demonstrated experience using business systems, analytics, and process improvement toolsSalary Description
