Let's Get Moving! is a Senior and Specialty Move Management service in Nashville, TN that assists in the transition of clients from home to senior living or downsizing to a smaller home. Packers, Sorters and Organizers will help clients design an efficient layout of furniture for their new space, engage in sorting, packing and managing the moving process for clients who are later in life and don't want the hassle of managing their own move. Let's Get Moving!was founded in 2005 and has a strong history in the community as a leader in senior move management and is continuing to grow!
Job Overview:
The Packer, Sorter, Organizer is responsible for all operational duties for assigned jobs. This will include being the primary point of contact with the Client after the job is secured, while a job is in progress, and throughout the completion of the work. The Packer, Sorter, Organizer may also supervise one, two or three teammates for larger jobs and will be responsible for managing their time and tasks efficiently.
Additional duties include:
Daily monitoring of job progress closely to ensure a smooth moving process for the client.
Communicate details of the move process with the Client for approval, including: Layout and design work, sorting of personal goods included in the move, presenting mover quotations, assist teammates with packing and unpacking, planning each new living space for art placement and decorations, planning home clearing and cleaning services.
Able to learn and understand dynamics of mover companies and manage the movers on moving days to ensure proper transit and placement of goods into new space and directing the heavy-lifting movers on furniture placement to match with pre-planned layout.
Work with the client on dispersal of unwanted personal items (i.e. furniture, decorations, clothing) and coordinating 3rd party vendors for donation pickup and trash pickup.
Problem-solving through each job through its unique dynamics and continuing to be the point of contact for any issues that may arise during the move.
Requirements for the Position:
Have a servant's heart and a deep caring for seniors who are in transition
Be time sensitive. Always Punctual and on time, prompt and flexible to changes.
Well-organized, detail-oriented and very patient
Provide emotional support to clients to ensure seamless and hassle-free transition during what is a stressful time and emotional time for them.
Requires standing, bending and going up and down stairs. Must be able to stand for 6 hours.
High school degree with college preferred
Strong customer service focus
Enjoys working in a "team environment"
Ability to provide own transportation to and from jobs

Experience in hospitality/event planning/ customer service or other industries requiring multitasking and detail orientation.
Ability to problem-solve
Has an eye for decorating/ space design
