Business Development Manager Industrial and Warehouse Supplier $80,000k-$100,000k + commission per yearMonday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmCleveland, Ohio Permanent OpportunityThe Business Development Manager will partner with your assigned IAM (Inside Account Manager) to prospect, close, develop and maintain both new and existing customer relationships in your assigned geographical territory.Why You’ll Love This Job:Full benefits include a strong 401k match, PTO and other various other incentives What You’ll Do:50 outbound prospecting phone calls20 scheduled F2F appointments 15 Drop-in’s (dropping in at a prospect)20 Quotes (to be completed with support from IAM and Sales Operations teams)Achieve sales growth targets as established per the annual planning processAchieve gross profit goals as established per the annual planning processAttend company meetings including in-person training sessions and other company eventsRegular cadence of meetings to discuss specific results and go-forward strategy with key support functions and internal stakeholders including, but not limited to: Assigned IAM, Sales Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Director of Industrial Sales, General Manager and any other relevant departments or personnelWhat We’re Looking For: Effective communicator both over the phone and all other communication mediums including live conversation, email, text message and social mediaOrganizational skills that allow for working autonomously with energy and a high level of attention to detail requiring little to no daily oversightAbility to work in a collaborative, team environment with customers, suppliers and key internal stakeholdersFamiliarity with all Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point and ExcelAbility to manage many projects, priorities and day-to-day tasks with effective prioritization skills focusing on revenue-driving activitiesAbility to drive a car and work an assigned geographical territory for onsite customer meetings and prospecting activitiesActing with the utmost level of integrity and responsibility to represent the company with a high standard both in the marketplace and at all company meetings, training or other functions
