This role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, managing bids, and supporting multi-million-dollar construction projects from concept through final pricing.This is an excellent opportunity for a construction estimator with experience in both commercial and luxury residential builds who is looking for long-term stability and high-impact projects.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimatesAnalyze blueprints, drawings, specifications, and contract documentsSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bidsPerform bid leveling and develop accurate project budgetsProvide value engineering options to optimize project costsCollaborate with project managers and preconstruction teamsMaintain organized estimating files and historical cost dataParticipate in bid reviews and respond to RFIs and pricing questionsQualifications5+ years of construction estimating experienceExperience with commercial construction and high-end residential projectsStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesAbility to manage multiple estimates, bids, and deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracySkillsProficiency in estimating and takeoff software (Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk, Smartsheet)Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsEducationBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Health insuranceVision insurancePaid time offRetirement planScheduleMonday to FridayWork LocationOn-site in Ventura, CAJob Type: Full-timeApply today for immediate consideration!
