We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Plan and design secure network solutions for enterprise services. Partner with stakeholders to assess existing capabilities and develop network designs. Design secure wide area connectivity for performance, quality of service, security, and mission requirements. Provide secure access solutions leveraging wired and wireless technologies. Integrate capacity planning and scaling into network and security stack designs. Identify network optimization strategies and develop designs for enterprise service capabilities.What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. Active DoD Secret clearance, with ability to obtain Top Secret. Active DoD IAT Level II (e.g., Security+) certification or equivalent. Experience documenting logical or physical network designs using drawing tools. Broad exposure to common IT infrastructure networking: LAN, WAN, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, Proxies, Routing(L2/L3), and Firewalls. Experience with two or more vendor network technologies: Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Palo Alto, Dell, Brocade, Fortinet. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting SOPs and technical documentation.What's On Offer Opportunity to support a demanding mission for Defense Enclave Services (DES).
