This role provides detailed information about the venue, including food and beverage options, gaming experiences, and event offerings. Guest Service team members must have a thorough understanding of the reservation system, ensuring smooth coordination and communication with guests and venue staff.Beyond the front desk, Guest Service contributes to the overall guest experience by staying aware and engaged throughout the venue, collaborating closely with other departments to uphold hospitality standards.ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist guests warmly, directing them to event spaces and answering questions about the venueDeliver prompt, friendly, and personalized service to every guestAct as a brand ambassador by promoting available dining and entertainment optionsCommunicate clearly and patiently with guests and team membersManage incoming phone calls and direct them appropriatelyMaintain and organize waitlists for hitting bays and reservations, using salesmanship to enhance guest experiencesSupport other team members and perform additional duties as requested by managementQualificationsFriendly, outgoing personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environmentFlexible schedule with availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong organizational, teamwork, and multitasking skillsMinimum one year of experience in a front desk, guest service, or hospitality roleExperience with computerized booking and point-of-sale systemsBilingual skills a plusExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredFamiliarity with reservation or event management software preferredDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work well across all levels of staffWorking ConditionsFast-paced, guest-facing environment with constant interaction and communicationRequires standing and walking for extended periods, including climbing stairsInvolves both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levelsMust be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds without assistanceEvening, weekend, and holiday shifts required to support business operationsDrive Shack is committed to equal opportunity in the workplace, preventing discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct, based on legally protected diversity characteristics (such as race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, citizenship, genetic information and veteran status) in its application and hiring processes and in its employment decisions.
