We are seeking a Training Program Director to support mission-critical training development within a DOE nuclear operations environment. This role directly supports ongoing tank waste operations and facility readiness, ensuring personnel across Operations and Engineering are fully trained, qualified, and prepared to perform safely in a high-consequence setting.This is a production-focused role, not academic instructional design. The work is tightly aligned to real-world execution, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity within active nuclear facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed task analysis across Operations and Engineering functions (?3,650 task line items)Identify required knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) tied to job rolesDevelop learning objectives aligned with mission and qualification requirementsDesign and develop training using SAT/ADDIE methodologyBuild and maintain classroom, computer-based (CBT), and OJT training materialsEvaluate and revise existing training programs to meet current operational needsPartner closely with SMEs, Operations, Engineering, and Training leadershipEnsure technical accuracy, regulatory alignment, and procedural complianceTrack progress and maintain documentation for all assigned training deliverablesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in instructional analysis/design within nuclear or high-hazard environmentsStrong experience with SAT (Systematic Approach to Training) and ADDIE methodologiesDemonstrated ability to perform task analysis and develop training tied to job performanceExperience developing OJT, CBT, and instructor-led training materialsAbility to work independently and contribute immediately in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsPrior experience supporting DOE sites (Hanford strongly preferred)Background in nuclear operations, engineering, or regulated industrial environmentsFamiliarity with training program compliance and qualification standardsWork Environment & ExpectationsOn-site role in Richland, WA, supporting active nuclear waste operationsHighly structured, compliance-driven environment with strict procedural adherenceTraining deliverables directly impact safety, mission readiness, and regulatory complianceFrequent collaboration with cross-functional teams in a high-accountability settingCandidates must be comfortable working within controlled environments and DOE standards Ref: #161-Managed Staffing Charlotte
