Must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at the time of submission.Job DescriptionAs a Salesforce Developer you will develop, design, and implement customizable solutions within Salesforce for the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center team at the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget.ResponsibilitiesHands-on CRM development supporting crisis call workflows for MICAL (Michigan Crisis Line), including coding and delivering user stories.Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and future enhancements.Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long-term strategy.Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new or updated applications and code.Have overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments.Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure the team is following those standards.Collaborate with developers for other systems to integrate across the business.Ensure that proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.Demonstrate a proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and communicating strategic technical concepts at an executive level.Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth and successful transition to maintenance and operations.Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills.Salesforce SkillsStrong knowledge and working experience in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.Participation in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations.In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of Salesforce.Strong hands-on experience writing Apex, Visualforce, Apex triggers, Aura components, and Lightning web components.Experience implementing solutions using no-code configurations such as Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.Work with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive the team to implement technical solutions.Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based applications and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs.Good experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML).Hands-on experience implementing authentication protocols (OAuth) to integrate third-party applications.Proven implementation skills for Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development.Ownership of end-to-end technical aspects of a Salesforce program: data migrations, data quality, system integrations, third-party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (e.g., release) processes for all Salesforce technology efforts.Assess Salesforce architecture and provide secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Force.com platform.Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems.Support SFDX development, branch management, merging, and code deployment activities using Azure DevOps build CI/CD processes.Identify risks and issues from a technical perspective.Required QualificationsDemonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience.4+ years of experience developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript.5+ years of experience working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud.3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC.2+ years of experience with API integrations and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or comparable tools for requirements tracking, CI/CD, or release management.Exposure to data migration and/or cloud integration projects.Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator.Preferred QualificationsSalesforce Certified Platform Developer II.Additional beneficial experience (not required):Experience with Conga and Drawloop.Familiarity with governmental processes and compliance, including prior experience working with FedRAMP-compliant tools and environments.J-18808-Ljbffr
