Public Safety Sergeant (4x12 Shift)

The Public Safety Sergeant is responsible for the safety of University students, staff and faculty members, visitors, and the campus and property of the University. Sergeants supervise officers and engage in proactive patrol, respond to calls for service, provide security at designated posts when necessary, provide shuttle service and medical escort transportation when necessary , enforce University policies including parking policies, and document incidents occurring on campus and/or involving members of the La Salle Community. The Office of Public Safety is a 24 hour/day, 365 day/year operation. Public Safety Sergeants are considered essential personnel and are assigned to an eight hour shift.
