HIL Systems Integration Engineer

Location: 100% ONSITE - Foster City, California (94404)Duration: 6-month contract - (extension potential)Pay: Negotiable depending on DIRECT related experience UP to $70 - $75/hrType: W2 contract ONLY - (C2C OR THIRD-PARTY arrangements will NOT be considered)Work Authorization: Must be currently located and authorized to work in the United States WITHOUT current sponsorship requirements.Job Summary: The Systems Integration and Test team is responsible for ensuring robust system performance for vehicle centric systems in Motion, Body and EE Architecture domains. The team is also responsible for investigating vehicle system integration issues found during testing and service operations.You will leverage your deep expertise in electric vehicle development, systems engineering, and hands-on testing to drive end-to-end integration of our complex vehicle platform.Responsibilities:Conduct integration testing at the bench and vehicle levels to characterize system performance under nominal and off-nominal conditions.Conduct data analysis to identify integration risks and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate the impact on the program and milestonesDrive issue resolution for complex system integration problems found during vehicle testing and fleet service operationsSupport the development and commissioning of test benches and instrumentation setupsIdentify potential improvements in system behavior, controls and diagnostics monitorsCreate and maintain documentation to track progress using tools like JIRA and ConfluenceQualificationsBS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related disciplinesExperience: 6+ years in vehicle system development and testing rolesExperience with vehicle electrical architecture and automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN and EthernetExperience with Instrumentation and Data Acquisition Tools like Vector CanAlyzer, ETAS INCA, Intrepid, CSM etc.)Hands-on electrical troubleshooting skills (DMM, Oscilloscope, electrical schematics, Saleae Logic Analyzer etc.)Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBonus QualificationsExperience with real time embedded control system developmentExperience conducting testing in xIL EnvironmentExperience with Grafana and other data analysis toolsets*** Kelly does not expense relocation/interview costs. ***Important information: To be immediately considered, please send an updated version of your resume to .
