Sr Java Developer (10-15 years experience)

Pay Rate (W2) : ～$58.6/hr (x 2080hr = $121.8K / year) *DOE *C2C is not available for this position Description We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in building and maintaining modern, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, Kafka, and AWS deployments, along with a solid foundation in CI/CD practices and production support. This role requires someone who is passionate about clean, efficient code, thrives in collaborative environments, and is eager to contribute to the development of high-performance, event-driven systems. Design and implement technical architecture for Java-based microservices using Spring Boot Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring security, scalability and high performance Implement scalable and fault-tolerant Spring Batch jobs for data processing Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Contribute to system design and architectural discussions Deploy and monitor cloud-native applications in AWS Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, etc.) Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers Strong problem-solving skills, experience with monitoring tools, logging and production support Write clean, and efficient modular code following industry best practices Requirements: 10–15 years of professional experience in software development with Java (Golang experience is a plus) Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Spring Boot microservices Strong understanding of REST API design, core data structures, and backend systems Experience with Spring Batch for scalable and fault-tolerant data processing Proficiency with Kafka for building event-driven systems Experience deploying and monitoring cloud-native applications in AWS Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Docker, etc.) Experience with Linux shell scripting and Git Strong problem-solving skills with experience in monitoring tools, logging, and production support Proven ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to system design and architecture discussions Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: Up to $121,800.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Vision insurance Compensation Package: Hourly pay Application Question(s): What type of work authorization do you currently have, and when does it expire?
