Location: In-person, Ohio City officePreferred Start Date: June 2026About the RoleAs Hubay Dougherty continues to expand our impact as a clean energy, utility regulatory, and nonprofit law firm, we are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Executive & Operations Assistant to support our Founder & Managing Partner. This role is instrumental in keeping priorities aligned, operations running smoothly, and communication flowing effectively. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive SupportManage and organize email inboxes, ensuring timely responses, flagging priorities, and maintaining clear communication flow.Own the Founder’s calendar, including scheduling, rescheduling, protecting focus time, and anticipating upcoming needs.Manage, prioritize, and schedule the Founder’s assignments in Monday.com, ensuring alignment with deadlines and strategic priorities.Prepare, edit, and format reports, presentations, and professional correspondence.Operations & AdministrationSupport HR and administrative functions, including onboarding tasks, document organization, and compliance-related follow-ups.Support business development administrative functions, including prospect research and follow up, and existing client business development efforts. Provide office management support, including ordering supplies, coordinating vendors, and maintaining an efficient, welcoming workspace.Update and maintain Hubay Dougherty’s records in Quickbooks Online, including daily bank feeds review, accounts payable, invoice creation and accounts receivable follow up. Execute ad hoc operational tasks to support firm efficiency and internal workflows.Ensure follow-up and follow-through using established systems, primarily Monday.com and other internal tools, to move tasks across the finish line.What We’re Looking ForStrong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to proactively anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong proficiency in productivity tools, especially Monday.com, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, Quickbooks Online, and calendar/email management platforms.Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive information.A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to pitch in across the firm as needed.Equal Opportunity EmployerHubay Dougherty is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
