This is a hands-on role focused on capturing, editing, and posting content, managing the marketing calendar across platforms, and driving engagement and audience growth.The ideal candidate is a strong content creator who can shoot and edit polished photo and video in the clinic, knows what performs on each platform, and can translate surgical expertise into content that resonates with a discerning aesthetics audience.This role is based in Los Angeles. Candidates must be local and able to be on-site at the practice regularly to capture content.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Capture and ProductionShoot photo and video content in the clinic environment, including procedure-adjacent footage, before/afters, BTS, patient education segments, and short-form social videoDirect the surgeon and team during shoots to get usable, on-brand footage efficientlyManage all on-site production logistics (lighting, audio, framing, B-roll planning)Build and maintain an organized content library and asset archiveEditing and Post-ProductionEdit short-form vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube ShortsEdit long-form video for YouTubeColor, sound, captions, graphics, and platform-specific cuts/aspect ratiosPhoto editing and retouching for grid posts and carouselsMaintain a consistent, elevated visual style across every assetMarketing Calendar and PostingBuild and maintain a structured content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedInPlan posting cadence by platform, balancing educational content, before/afters, trends, and procedure-specific contentSchedule and publish posts at optimal times for each platformCoordinate content around launches, seasonal trends, and practice milestonesEngagement and GrowthStay on top of what is currently driving engagement in the aesthetics/medical space — formats, hooks, audio, trending topics, comment patternsTest hooks, thumbnails, captions, and formats; iterate based on performanceManage comments, DMs, and inbound inquiries professionally and promptlyMonitor brand mentions and engage where appropriateCaptions, Hooks, and CopyWrite captions, hooks, and video scripts in a refined, authoritative voiceTranslate clinical and aesthetic concepts into clear, engaging copyKeep messaging consistent with the practice's positioning and toneAnalytics and IterationTrack engagement, reach, follower growth, saves, shares, and conversion to consultsReport regularly on what is and isn't workingUse platform analytics and broader trend data to refine the calendar and content mixQualifications3–6 years creating and managing social media content, ideally for a premium brand, aesthetics/beauty business, or medical practiceDemonstrated ability to shoot and edit short-form video that performs (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) — portfolio requiredStrong photo and video editing skills (Premiere, CapCut, Lightroom, or equivalent)Deep, current knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — algorithms, formats, trends, and what actually drives engagementStrong copywriting instincts for captions and hooksHighly organized; able to run a content calendar independentlyExcellent visual taste and attention to detailPreferred ExperiencePrior work with physicians, surgeons, or aesthetics/wellness brandsFamiliarity with facial aesthetics, cosmetic procedures, or dermatologyExperience growing an account from a smaller base to meaningful scaleStrong creative eye paired with a tactical, execution-focused mindsetSelf-directed; can run shoots and the calendar with minimal hand-holdingDiscreet and professional in a clinical environmentGenuinely interested in aesthetics, beauty, and visual storytellingSuccess in this role means a consistent, high-quality content output, a steadily growing engaged audience, and content that converts followers into consult inquiries — while maintaining the elevated standard the practice represents.J-18808-Ljbffr
