2nd shift Machine Operator/1st shift Packer
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as a 2nd shift Machine Operator and 1st shift Packer. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to work with industrial equipment, ensure efficient production processes, and maintain high safety standards. As a key member of our production line, you will operate packaging machinery, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support the overall manufacturing workflow. Responsibilities
Operate packaging machines and other manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely during assigned shifts
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues promptly to minimize downtime
Handle materials using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts following safety protocols
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
Assist in setting up machinery for different production runs and perform routine maintenance checks
Follow all safety standards in production environments, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use and safety protocol adherence
Support warehouse activities such as loading, unloading, and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
Prior experience operating industrial equipment or machinery in a manufacturing or food production setting is preferred
Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and quality checks
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
Ability to operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred)
Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and GMP compliance
Familiarity with packaging machines and machining processes is a plus
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment

Pay: $17.50 - $20.50 per hour
