Maintenance Tech
Our client is seeking a second shift Maintenance Tech who will perform major and minor repairs toplant equipment as required to keep plant running productively and effectively. If you aremechanically inclined, with some electrical experience, and if you want to work in a clean plantenvironment in an industry that is going strong, you should consider this opportunity.You WillPerform mechanical and electrical repairs including troubleshooting PLC, sensors and PID loops.Read and accurately interpret hydraulic, electrical and mechanical prints and drawings.Layout and construct jigs and fixtures for use in production operations.Maintain all machinery, equipment, building components, in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.Be a participant on Emergency Response Team. Wear necessary PPE for chemical cleanup requiring arespirator.Install and maintain feeder and branch circuit wiring including single and three phase systems.Layout and install rigid and EMT, IMC, conduit systems for feeder and branch circuit wiring in accordance withNational Electrical Code and approved practices.Monitor and maintain plant service equipment consisting of air conditioning and heating systems, hot andchilled water circulation systems, chiller, cooling tower, boiler, feed water system, water softening system, aircompressors, etc.What You Will BringMinimum of 2 years of related experience in manufacturing or distributionHigh school diploma, GED, or Journeyman CardExperience working with high voltages and around moving equipment.Reading comprehension skills and being able to communicate in EnglishAbility to Lift 60 lbs. from the floor and able to work at heightsAttention to details and good math skillsAbility to pass post offer drug screen and background checkWhat You Will EnjoyMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceLTD and STDOptional life insurance401(k) with a matchPTOTuition AssistanceFlexible spending AccountLocal candidates only as there is no relocation assistance offered.
