Job Description Position: Cashier Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier who excels at customer service and accurate transaction handling. The ideal familiar with the restaurant menu, and capable of managing the cash register and electronic systems efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth and error-free transactions while supporting overall restaurant operations. Requirements: Positive service attitude with a passion for customer satisfaction Knowledge of all food items served at the restaurant Proficiency in using the company’s electronic systems Basic math skills to handle transactions accurately Bilingual in English and Spanish Benefits: Discounted Meals Vacation Responsibilities: Prepare and set up the cash register for transactions with the correct initial balance Accurately record and charge customer transactions, ensuring proper amounts and avoiding discrepancies Handle cash receipts and give change correctly Close out the cash register at the end of the shift, reporting any discrepancies to management Prepare and document cash deposits based on register totals Record and report tips received Investigate and resolve any issues with credit card or cash transactions Deliver cash and cash reports to the manager as required Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls according to company policy: “Tostada Regia Airline, this is Janet, how can I help you?” Take carry-out orders accurately, understanding the importance of order correctness Deliver carry-out orders to the correct customers promptly Assist with seating customers, delivering menus, and providing utensils as needed Support management with various administrative and operational tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tidiness at the end of the shift About us : Since opening our doors on October 17, 2003, Tostada Regia has been passionate about serving great food made with the best ingredients.
