Mechanic Assistant

Job Description We are seeking a mechanic assistant to become a part of our team! We are looking for someone with a background in using tools and mechanical equipment. You will be required to perform a variety of maintenance/repair tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operation efficiency.Responsibilities:Assist in the installation and operation of various mechanical systemsAssist in repairing machines and equipment defectsPerform routine preventative maintenancePerform 'Lock-Out/Tag-Out' proceduresWork directly with production manager to advise on machinery issues before they become bigger problemsOrder parts directly from vendors, and ensure return items are promptly handled​Qualifications:Previous experience as mechanic assistant, or working on heavy machinery.
