Job Description Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This opportunity is for a full-time, onsite school psychologist position serving a middle school in Mesquite, NM. The assignment covers the entire 2025-2026 school year, with possibilities of extending through the Extended School Year (ESY) program until the end of June. Part-time candidates will also be considered.Key qualifications and experience:Current New Mexico state licensure required; Level 2 or 3 preferred, but Level 1 licensure may be acceptedExperience providing direct therapy services, as this role will have heavy therapy caseloadAbility to conduct reevaluations and intervene in crisis situationsFamiliarity with middle school student populations is a plusResponsibilities:Serve as the dedicated school psychologist at the middle school levelDeliver therapeutic services addressing student needsConduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations as necessaryProvide crisis intervention support as neededCollaborate with school staff, families, and district personnel to support student successAdditional information:This is an onsite position within a small, supportive district known for its collaborative environmentThe district is located near scenic southern New Mexico, including proximity to Las Cruces and White Sands National ParkDriving between campuses, if required, will be compensatedCandidates from nearby areas such as El Paso, TX, Deming, or Truth or Consequences are encouraged to applyIf you hold appropriate licensure and have a passion for supporting middle school students through therapeutic and psychological services, this position offers a rewarding full school year contract in a beautiful region.To apply, please submit your qualifications through the designated submission system to be considered for this full-time role.
