Video Production Specialist

Job Overview The Video Production Specialist supports the planning, production, and execution of video and audio projects across the Fulfilled by Maersk organization. This role manages production logistics, including video, audio, and lighting equipment, and executes post‑production tasks such as editing, animation, graphics, and final delivery. The specialist collaborates closely with the Creative Director, scriptwriters, subject matter experts, and cross‑functional stakeholders to produce high‑quality video content that aligns with organizational goals, enhances learning, and drives engagement. Key Responsibilities Assist in producing all elements required for a finished video, including operating and managing video and audio equipment, traveling with equipment, ensuring proper lighting, editing footage, managing media files, and creating quality compositions. Follow directions of the Creative Director and translate their vision into the story delivered. Communicate with key stakeholders to identify objectives and work collaboratively to achieve them. Prepare video content by planning, meeting, script writing, storyboarding, visualizing, and setting up scenes for filming. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and subject matter experts to produce video content. Work independently or as part of small teams, including remote work. Technical Skill Requirements Five or more years of video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and proficiency in other Creative Cloud products. Understanding of shot composition, framing, visual storytelling, and ability to capture cinematic compositions. Proficiency in color correction and grading; ability to integrate graphics, effects, music, and sound bites. Experience operating mirrorless, DSLR, or cinema cameras and setting exposure, color, and picture quality. Experience setting up lapel/lavalier mics, managing backup audio, and performing audio mixing, noise reduction, and balancing dialogue, music, and effects. Knowledge of lighting setups, including three‑point lighting, soft/hard light, back lighting, color temperature, and practical setups. Familiarity with gimbals, tripods, sliders, and stabilization tools. Understanding of file formats, codecs, export settings for different platforms. Experience in pre‑planning: script writing, storyboarding, shot list creation. Knowledge of digital asset management: organizing footage, backups, and project files. Staying current with trends and new production techniques.
