Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.SummaryDepartment/Functional Description:The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides comprehensive women’s health services spanning maternal-fetal medicine, general and subspecialty gynecology, family planning, and newborn care. The department also plays a critical leadership role in education with a residency and fellowship program and advancing health equity, faculty engagement, clinical innovation, and research across the Rush system and with key external partners.QualificationsOther information:Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Public Health preferredMinimum 2 years of relevant experience, including Fellowship experience. Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills. Deep understanding of academic medical center operations.Responsibilities Work with the Department Administrator, Director of Operations and the Department Chair in executing strategic priorities, coordinating faculty affairs, and managing high-risk/high-impact initiatives in administrative and operational areas. Supports the Chair, Administrator and Director of Operations in coordinating key initiatives and department-wide communications Leads strategic planning processes and cross-functional collaborations across clinical, academic, and administrative areas Oversees onboarding, offboarding, and credentialing processes for 40+ providers (employed and private) Supports faculty affairs, performance evaluations, staffing model development, and budget planning Successfully led the system-compliant closure of the REI division with minimal disruption to care Develop playbooks for program transitions, new model implementation, and interdepartmental coordinationRush is an equal opportunity employer.
