Our facility is located in Huntsville, Alabama, and has been named as the Number 1 Best Place to Live by U.S. News & World Report for 2022-2023.****URGENT HIRE****Position Summary: Madison Core Laboratories Phlebotomist's are responsible for efficiently and accurately collecting blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis, depending on their specific facility. This position will be expected to work a flexible work schedule serving Huntsville, Alabama area. (Working Hours could range between 5:30am- 5:00pm) Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAccurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples- based on facility needsIdentify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical recordsEnsure quality and quantity of collected samplesLabel samples correctly and send or deliver for testingAnswer related patient questions and provide useful informationAdhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or travelingFollows instructions and other duties as directed by supervisorSkills And AbilitiesExcellent Oral and Written Communication SkillsSuperior Time Management SkillsAttention to detailAbility to connect with a diverse group of patients Excellent Interpersonal Skills Experience5 years of related experience, PreferredEducationH.S.
