Accuracy Control Supervisor

The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Work to ensure that everyone inside the Yard, own as well as subcontractors, are safe and are performing their work in accordance with our CORE valuesEnsure that all Hanwha Philly Shipyard safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and metInstruct and direct Accuracy Control Technicians with evaluationsParticipate in and provide input for Build Method developmentInterpret 3-Dim evaluationsDirect Measurement operators with alignmentsSchedule workload of Measurement operatorsPerform other related duties as required and assignedCOMPETENCIESAble to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationDecision making/Problem solvingAdaptability and organizational skills and understandingIntegrityConflict resolutionStrategic thinkingStress managementWillingness and ability to work as a team memberSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTYOversee Accuracy Control and Measurement Technicians/OperatorsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE2 years of college related studies and/or 10 years' related experience in Measurement field or Quality ControlFamiliar with AVEVA systemHave good print reading skillsKnowledge of Theodolite, level and digital instrumentsGood shipbuilding background with good mathematical skillsAbility to train operators with all measurement equipmentWORK ENVIRONMENTEnvironmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke.
