Patient Service Representative | The Plastic Surgery Group The Plastic Surgery Group is one of Cincinnati's premier plastic and aesthetic surgery practices, with three locations across the region. We're looking for a warm, organized, and people-first Patient Service Representative to join our front office team.The Plastic Surgery Group is looking for a Patient Service Representative to support patients across multiple points of their visit experience. This is a rotating role that combines responsibilities from the front desk, check-out, and switchboard, so it is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable on the phone, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.What you'll do:Welcome patients and create a friendly, professional first impressionCheck patients in and out accurately and efficientlyCollect paperwork, verify information, and scan documentsRun eligibility and collect co-pays, balances, and procedure feesSchedule and reschedule appointmentsAnswer incoming calls, check voicemail, route calls, and take messagesSupport daily office flow, including email, faxing, and follow-up tasksHelp maintain a clean, organized, patient-ready front officeAssist with end-of-day balancing and other administrative support as neededWhat we're looking for:Customer service experience with a positive, can-do attitudeHealthcare or medical office experience preferredAbility to handle upset or frustrated patients with professionalism and careComfortable spending a good portion of the day on the phoneComfortable with technology; EMR experience is a plusFamiliarity with HIPAA and patient privacy expectations is a plusMust be willing to occasionally cover our West Chester and Northern Kentucky locationsSchedule & Location:Monday Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PMPrimary location: Rookwood (Cincinnati, OH), but must be willing to travel to West Chester and Northern Kentucky when coverage is needed.Full-time is preferred, but part-time candidates will also be considered.What We Offer (after 90 days):We may not be a large hospital system, but we take care of our people and we offer something a little more unique:Paid Time Off (PTO)Life Insurance$40/month skincare product allowance$100/month discount on aesthetic proceduresComplimentary Botox, Dysport, and filler
