Structural Steel Foreman

Resolute Performance Iron (a Division of Sletten Companies) is a specialty steel contractor seeking a Structural Steel Foreman.Structural Steel Foreman oversees and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in the installation anderection of structural steel. This position requires thorough knowledge of structural steel work, strongleadership abilities, and excellent communication skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of structural steel workers, including welders, riggers and other related trades.Plan and schedule project timelines, work sequences, and resource allocation in collaboration with the ProjectManager.Ensure adherence to project specifications, blueprints, and safety standards.Inspect work areas and complete work to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications and industrystandards.Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to steel erection and installation.Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure work is completed with attention to detailEnforce all safety protocols and procedures on the job site, conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talksEnsure all workers are using proper Personal Protective Equipment and are trained in safety practicesMaintain accurate daily logs and records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents or delaysResolve conflicts and promote teamwork among crew membersMotivate and encourage workers to meet project goals and deadlines.Qualifications Experienced in structural steel fabrication to AISC standardsAbility to read architectural/structural plans and design documentOrganized, attentive, and detail orientedExcellent time management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsLeadership experience is preferredTravel to job sites will be requiredAdditional Information Office and shop location is in Phoenix, AZWork enforcement requires the ability to sit, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift up to 50lbs.EOE.
