This role requires a highly collaborative individual who can work closely with product owners, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, business-driven data solutions across the enterprise.The ideal candidate is passionate about data architecture, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is focused on delivering reliable, well-documented, and scalable solutions while continuously learning new technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable Big Data Warehouse solutions spanning the full data lifecycleExtend, enhance, and optimize enterprise Data Lake platformsArchitect and implement solutions for metadata management and data governanceDesign and execute strategies for real-time data analysis and decision supportSolve complex data integration challenges across multiple systems and data sourcesCollaborate with data science teams to improve accessibility and usability of actionable dataSupport and promote data quality, security, and governance initiativesCreate and maintain technical and user-facing documentation, including:Data models and schemasData dictionaries and business glossariesArchitecture diagrams and data flow documentationPartner with management, architects, analysts, and engineers across teamsDemonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt new tools and skillsRequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Processing, or equivalent practical experienceStrong experience in data management, data access, and enterprise data warehousingHands-on experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop and SparkProficiency in SQL, including Spark SQL and DataFramesExperience with modern data warehousing and analytics platforms (e.g., Redshift, Spark, Hadoop, web services)Experience in data architecture, data assembly, and data integrationWorking knowledge of data governance and data security principlesExperience with AWS services, including:EMR, EC2, S3Redshift, AthenaAuroraProgramming experience with Java and framework developmentAt least 2 years of Python development experienceExperience with data integration tools (Talend preferred; Cascading acceptable)Familiarity with Linux environmentsExperience with Bitbucket and strong understanding of Git version controlFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as JenkinsExperience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQLSolid understanding of core computer science conceptsPreferred / Bonus SkillsScala, Spark, or similar Big Data technologiesKafkaAerospikeAWS EKS / containerized environmentsSoft Skills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teamsComfortable working under pressure while maintaining quality and accuracyTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
