Project Manager
DeWitt & Associates, Inc., a Springfield-based and employee-owned commercial construction company with a rich history and a reputation for service with integrity, is searching for a Project Manager with a passion for building and service.
The key responsibilities and duties of this position include:
Manage assigned construction projects, with ultimate responsibility for project success, including the following:
Assist superintendent with management of subcontractors and project schedules
Monitor and manage project labor and material costs and productivity
Monitor and administer QA/QC program with superintendent with emphasis on QA
Serve as relationship manager for clients and maintain subcontractor, vendor and community relationships
Guide and support project staff
Assist estimators with bidding, provide productivity/unit cost trends and subcontractor/vendor performance information
Preferred candidate qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree (Construction Management or Business Administration is preferred) or equivalent industry experience
A minimum five years of industry experience is preferred
Candidates must display a high degree of professionalism
Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel, and experience with project management and scheduling applications and other construction technology
