Nurse Practitioner, Hemodialysis (20 hrs)

Position Summary/ Department Summary:Nurse Practitioner, Hemodialysis Key Responsibilities:Clinical support within a busy pediatric dialysis unit providing dialysis care to both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients. Staff education, involvement in health care quality and improvement projects as well as having the opportunity to collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team.Working 20 hours per week: 10-hour day shifts including rotating Saturdays and holidays (rotating between 3 NPs)Minimum QualificationsEducation: Master’s of Science in NursingExperience:3 years of pediatric nursing experience required; dialysis experience preferred. May consider new grad NP with strong dialysis and/or pediatric RN experience.Licensure/ Certifications:A current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse certification as a Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
