Pediatrics Physician Assistant

A healthcare network in Vermont is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide call coverage for their Pediatric Care team. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Thursdays (some weekends) Hours: 5pm to 8am Notes: One in four weekends starting Thursday at 5:00 PM May extend through Monday 8:00 AM Responsibilities: Newborn nursery coverage Pediatric consults in the Emergency Department Inpatient pediatrics for patients under age 18 Routine newborn care in the nursery High-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: Master's Degree VT Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license Experience with Newborn Nursery Care Experience in Pediatric Consultations Knowledge of Neonatal Resuscitation Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Strong attentioin to detail Highly organized Desired Qualifications: Advanced certifications in Pediatric Care Experience in NICU stabilization Leadership in High-Risk Delivery situations
