The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial planning and operations, ensuring compliance with the hospital's mission and strategic direction, and fostering positive relationships with various stakeholders. This includes appraising the organization's financial position, directing financial planning, and overseeing all financial operations from the ground up. The successful candidate will also be expected to lead the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategic objectives to support the growth of essential services for the community. Candidates for the CFO position at the company's new acute care facility should have a BS/BA degree in a relevant field, with a CPA designation preferred, and a graduate-level degree being a plus. A minimum of 5-7 years' of progressive experience in hospital finance and accounting, including a CFO role, is required. The role demands a deep understanding of hospital and healthcare financial practices, as well as experience in areas such as financial reporting, revenue cycle management, budgeting, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
