* General Purpose of the Position
The primary role of the Rental Delivery Driver is to deliver and set up tables, chairs, flooring, dishware, linens, and other rental equipment in alignment with the company’s mission—to meet customer needs through exceptional products and services, encouraging repeat business year after year.
To fulfill this role, the Rental Delivery Driver must follow instructions from project managers and the dispatch office during the setup and breakdown of events. The driver is also responsible for adhering to all safety and administrative policies and procedures established by the company.

Effective communication is essential—both internally with team members at all levels of the company and externally with customers. The individual must be capable of executing rental delivery and installation procedures with precision and professionalism, while following instructions from the Project Managers and Dispatch Office.
* Reporting Relationship of the Position
The Rental Delivery Driver reports directly to the Project Managers and Dispatchers and is accountable to the Dispatch Manager for the execution of all assigned duties and responsibilities.
* Authority
The Rental Delivery Driver is granted the appropriate authority to effectively carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position, including but not limited to the following.
* Direct Reports
* The Rental Delivery Driver is responsible for overseeing and directing the Rental Delivery Helper during the delivery and setup process, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
* Safety
* All employees are responsible for identifying safety hazards. They are authorized to stop work and immediately notify their supervisor to address and resolve any safety concerns.

* Experience
* Required: Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating a 24' or 26' box truck or similar class of vehicle.

* Must be able to complete a vehicle inspection at the start of every shift.
* Must meet qualifications and adhere to the Aztec Events and Tents Auto Fleet Policy.
* Must be able to navigate the city and arrive at destinations in a timely manner.

* Must be able to communicate and work effectively with Project Managers, Dispatchers, Crew Leaders, and the Dispatch Manager.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with customer representatives and employees at all levels of the company.

* Must always wear PPE during installation, removal, or loading of equipment.

* Working Conditions
* Work is primarily performed in the field, on job sites, and in the division warehouse.
* Some areas may be congested and may require navigating tight spaces.
* Travel by private or company vehicle may be required, with associated traffic hazards.
* Standard work hours are typically 8–10 hours per day, with additional hours based on workload and scheduling needs.
* The role involves strict deadlines and performance expectations, which may create high-stress situations.
* Position Primary Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES
* Follow all the clock-in and clock-out procedures.
* Receive route contracts, truck keys, fuel card, parking passes, and special instructions from the dispatch office.
* Review route contracts with the crew to identify any mistakes, shortages, or questions that need clarification. Any issues are to be addressed with the dispatch office, and shortages should be reported to the appropriate department manager.
* If tools are required, check them out from the tool cage and return them at the end of each shift. The driver is responsible for the tools.
* Inspect trucks every morning, fill out the inspection report, and submit it to the dispatch office.
* Inspect the load in the truck to ensure all necessary equipment is present and secured properly.
* Upon arrival at the delivery site, contact the customer or authorized person to sign the contract. The driver must review the contract in full with the customer, ensuring they understand what is being delivered and where the equipment will be unloaded.
* he driver and crew will unload and move the equipment to the designated area. During unloading, all equipment should be counted and noted on the invoice to ensure the order is delivered in full. Once completed, the customer signs the contract acknowledging they have received all equipment.
* Before leaving for the next stop, the driver must contact the dispatch office to notify them of the departure and inform them of the next customer's estimated time of arrival (ETA). Upon completion of the last delivery, the driver should contact dispatch to determine if they should return to the shop or proceed with another pick-up.
* On pick-ups, the driver should count and inspect all equipment. If there are any shortages or damages, these should be noted on the contract. The customer is to be notified before leaving the site and must sign the contract acknowledging the damage or shortages.
* Report inventory shortages, loss, damage, or other issues to the dispatchers.
* Ensure that equipment is loaded and secured in the truck in a manner that protects it from damage or movement during transport.
* Upon returning to the shop, park the truck at the loading dock or designated area. Inspect the equipment for any signs of movement or damage sustained during transport. Return all tools to the cage, clean out any trash from the vehicle, and submit all contracts, paperwork, and keys to the dispatch office.
* Check the dispatch board for the crew and truck assignment and the arrival time for the next day. Then clock out.
OTHER RESPONSABILITIES:
* Communicate with Project Managers and Dispatchers as needed.
* Perform other duties as directed by the Dispatch Manager.
Position Administrative Responsibilities:
* Complete all delivery and pickup documentation using the Mobile Workforce application.
* Ensure that all the information entered is accurate, timely, and reflects the services performed.
* Submit all required documentation as directed by dispatch procedures and company policy.
