AI Knowledge & Content Systems Lead

A Fortune 500 investment firm is seeking an AI Knowledge & Content Systems Lead to build and launch an AI-driven chatbot and knowledge base solution for B2B clients. This role will own the end-to-end setup—from discovery and vendor selection through implementation, content governance, and post-launch optimization. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role blending AI content strategy, prompt design, knowledge architecture, and performance optimization. Key ResponsibilitiesKnowledge Architecture & ImplementationLead discovery sessions to define AI use cases, content structure, and workflowsDesign and implement scalable knowledge base architecture for AI-driven experiencesEvaluate and integrate enterprise knowledge management and chatbot platformsStructure content for machine-readability and AI consumptionAI Content & Prompt DesignDesign, test, and refine prompts to improve AI-generated responsesDefine AI tone, voice, and conversational behaviorBuild conversational flows, fallback logic, and structured outputsEnsure responses align with business goals and client needsAI Performance OptimizationMonitor AI performance (accuracy, hallucinations, user satisfaction)Develop test sets and validation frameworksAnalyze outputs and continuously improve prompts, workflows, and modelsDefine success metrics and optimize post-launch performanceContent Quality & GovernanceEstablish content standards, governance models, and review processesEnsure AI outputs are accurate, current, and well-structuredImplement feedback loops and auditing processes for AI responsesMaintain and improve underlying knowledge sourcesAI Solution Development & SupportSupport development of AI prototypes and toolsPartner with engineering teams to implement AI solutionsAssist with testing and rollout of new AI capabilitiesCross-Functional CollaborationTranslate business needs into AI-driven solutions and content strategiesPartner with AI leadership, product, content, sales, and vendor teamsSupport client demos, workshops, and presentationsDocument processes, best practices, and improvementsResearch & InnovationStay current with generative AI trends and emerging toolsContribute to internal best practices and knowledge sharingRequired QualificationsDirect experience implementing knowledge management systems and or chatbotsProven experience designing information architecture for AI or knowledge-driven systemsStrong background in content governance, quality standards, and validation processesHands-on experience with generative AI tools and workflows (prompt engineering, evaluation, tuning)Experience translating business content into AI-optimized formatsStrong cross-functional collaboration and vendor management experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with eGain, Knowbly, Kore.ai, or similar platformsBackground in B2B environments or financial servicesExperience scaling AI content programs and defining operational models for ongoing optimizationConsulting or professional services experience
