As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders, and deliver a strong customer service experience. Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do: Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity or hazards. Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors and deliveries, and documenting access activity per post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with evacuations, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed. Complete timely reports and logs of patrols, access activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervision during shift turnover.Minimum Requirements: An active DoD Secret clearance is required. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
