FSA offers Urological, General Surgery/Trauma and Ear, Nose & Throat (including allergy & audiology) and Gastroenterology care. We pride ourselves in providing compassionate patient care, quality healthcare treatment, and excellent patient experiences.OverviewOur General Surgery Physician Assistants (PAs) have a variety of responsibilities and duties that help support the needs of our patients and the community. Duties include, but are not limited to:Pre-operative Care:-Conduct patient histories and physical exams.-Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging).-Educate patients about surgical procedures, risks, and recovery.Intra-operative Assistance:-Assist surgeons during operations (e.g., retracting tissues, suturing, controlling bleeding).-Ensure sterile field maintenance and proper surgical instrumentation.-Perform minor surgical procedures under supervision.Post-operative Management:-Monitor patients in recovery and manage wound care.-Remove sutures, drains, and staples.-Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.-Provide discharge instructions and follow-up care.Administrative Duties:-Document patient encounters and surgical notes.-Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.-Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and healthcare regulations.Salary & Benefits· Salary: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00401(k)401(k) matchingHealthDentalVisionDisabilityLife insurancePaid time offFlexible scheduleFlagstaff is a culturally diverse, picturesque, mountain and university community with four seasons.
