Visit www.greenpoweredtechnology.com for more information.About the Role: The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide technical expertise and advisory support related to geothermal power development and next-generation energy systems. The SME will support the evaluation of proposed projects and assist in program design involving advanced energy technologies, including geothermal energy, blue hydrogen, micro-grids, biofuels, and hybrid energy platforms. This role requires strong technical knowledge of subsurface engineering, innovative drilling techniques, and integrated energy infrastructure systems. The SME will assess the technical feasibility, infrastructure requirements, and implementation risks associated with energy generation and supporting infrastructure projects in emerging markets. The SME will contribute expert analysis to help ensure that proposed initiatives align with international best practices, support long-term energy security, and strengthen system reliability.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise on geothermal energy development, including resource exploration, wellfield development, drilling programs, and geothermal power plant infrastructure.Evaluate proposed projects involving advanced energy technologies such as blue hydrogen production, distributed energy systems, micro-grids, biofuels, and hybrid energy platforms.Review feasibility studies, engineering assessments, and project proposals related to energy generation and supporting infrastructure.Assess project technical feasibility, operational requirements, and potential implementation risks.Provide recommendations on infrastructure development strategies, technology deployment, and system integration.Support the evaluation of infrastructure investments related to energy generation, storage, and grid integration.Advise on best practices in geothermal and advanced energy project development.Prepare technical assessments and reports to support program decision-making and project selection. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, energy systems, environmental science, or a related technical field.Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in energy infrastructure development, geothermal systems, or advanced energy technologies.Demonstrated experience supporting the evaluation, development, or implementation of energy infrastructure projects.Strong technical knowledge of geothermal systems, subsurface engineering, drilling technologies, and power generation infrastructure.Familiarity with emerging energy technologies including hydrogen production, micro-grid systems, biofuel technologies, and hybrid energy systems.Experience reviewing technical documentation such as feasibility studies, engineering reports, and infrastructure proposals.Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.Professional proficiency in English.
