Temporary Logistics Data Entry Our client, a well-established retail organization, is seeking a Logistics Data Entry Specialist to support its distribution operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with data in a fast-paced retail environment. You will play a key role in ensuring inventory, shipping, and logistics information is entered accurately to support daily operations. This role is Monday-Friday fully onsite. Pay is $20/hr.
This is a temporary assignment through the end of the year, with the potential to become a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and update logistics, inventory, shipping, and purchase order data into company systems.
Maintain product, vendor, and distribution records with a high level of accuracy.
Review inbound and outbound shipment documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Track inventory movements between distribution centers and retail locations.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to reconcile data, maintain reports, and validate information.
Perform routine audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
Generate reports to support inventory planning, purchasing, and logistics teams.
Collaborate with warehouse, merchandising, purchasing, and transportation teams to ensure accurate data flow.
Maintain organized electronic files and documentation.
Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals in a high-volume environment.
Provide administrative support for supply chain and retail operations as needed.
Qualifications Previous experience in data entry, logistics, inventory control, retail operations, supply chain, or administrative support preferred.
Retail industry strongly preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including experience with:
VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
Pivot Tables
Sorting and filtering large datasets
IF statements and other common formulas
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems is a plus.
High school diploma or GED required.
