PostgreSQL DeveloperLocation: Trenton, NJ (Hybrid Candidates must work 3 days a week ON-SITE)Contract Duration: 12+ MonthsAn onsite interview is required for this job.Interview process: After your candidate has been approved, they will receive an automated screening questionnaire that they must complete. The client requires an onsite interview. Strong communication skills are required.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a PostgreSQL Developer to design, build, and maintain healthcare data integrations across systems using PostgreSQL and Oracle, ensuring seamless data interoperability between internal and third-party health systems. This position will be Full-Time and Hybrid (3 days in-office) in Trenton, NJ. This is a 1+ year contract engagement.What Youll DoDesign and develop key modules within our client's systemCollaborate with technical and product teams to ensure seamless data integration and interoperabilityUnderstand functional requirements and technical specifications to implement technical solutionsWork independently and as part of a team to design, develop, and test software applicationsProvide accurate estimates for design and programming effortsTroubleshoot and resolve database performance and data integrity issuesPrepare, maintain, and catalog technical documentation and artifactsWhat You'll NeedRequired:Minimum 5+ years of experience developing and supporting PostgreSQL databasesExperience in database design, data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuningStrong experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and viewsExperience with database integration, ETL processes, and data migration activitiesFull-time professional work experience in Information TechnologyPreferred:2+ years of experience with Oracle databases.Experience working in an Agile development environment or equivalent fast-paced settingPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorMust be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in personSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
