AI Risk & Governance Analyst - 100% remote** (EST)Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an AI Risk & Governance Analyst to support a rapidly growing AI Trust & Safety program focused on responsible AI governance across enterprise healthcare environments.This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about AI governance, healthcare compliance, risk management, and emerging technology oversight. The team is looking for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within AI governance and healthcare technology risk.What You’ll Be DoingSupport AI governance and AI risk assessment activities across multiple healthcare initiativesConduct third-party/vendor AI risk reviews focused on privacy, compliance, security, and operational riskCoordinate governance workflows involving legal, privacy, security, clinical, and operational stakeholdersMaintain AI inventory records, risk classifications, and governance documentationTrack remediation items, review timelines, and open findings across governance workstreamsAssist with AI governance committee preparation, reporting, and executive updatesReview vendor documentation, contracts, BAAs, and security materials for AI-related risk considerationsHelp support AI governance policies, procedures, standards, and lifecycle management activitiesMonitor governance metrics, dashboards, and reporting deliverablesWhat We’re Looking For1–3 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk, healthcare operations, data governance, privacy, GRC, or related environmentsExperience working within a healthcare organization, hospital system, payer, healthcare consulting firm, or regulated environment strongly preferredExposure to HIPAA, PHI, PII, third-party risk, audit support, compliance reviews, or governance processesStrong organizational and documentation skillsComfortable coordinating across technical and non-technical teamsInterest in AI governance, responsible AI, emerging technology risk, or healthcare AIAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment*Due to tax reasons, we cannot hire candidates based in NY, CA, IL or NJ for this role
