Projected Compensation Ranges from $45k-$65k+ Annually
Primary Responsibilities
Pros contribute through both on-court instruction and off-court engagement.
On-Court Instruction (50%)
Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction that helps players improve and enjoy the game.
Lead and assist clinics, camps, academies, and group sessions
Deliver private and semi-private lessons
Support tournaments, leagues, and special events
Maintain high instructional standards aligned with Jumbo’s philosophy
Adapt coaching for all ages and levels
Support new program launches and curriculum execution
You bring:

Member Engagement & Club Presence (25%)
Great pros are visible pros.
Pros are required to spend 10+ hours per week at the club outside of scheduled lessons building relationships and contributing to the energy of the space.
This includes:
Greeting members and learning names
Watching matches and offering encouragement
Engaging players after games
Participating in open play
Supporting the front desk and events
Connecting with frequent players
Expectation:
Build meaningful connections with 10+ members per week
Visibility builds trust.
Trust builds demand.
Demand Generation (15%)
Pros are responsible for building their own book of business through connection and consistency.
Identify players who would benefit from instruction
Follow up in a natural, professional way
Promote clinics, series, and programs
Create opportunities (drop-in drills, tune-ups, themed sessions)
This is not selling.
This is helping players get better — consistently.
Team Contribution (10%)
Great pros make the club better for everyone.
Support fellow instructors and the Head Pro
Step in where needed
Contribute ideas that improve programming
Maintain a professional, team-first mindset

Compensation & Performance Benchmarks
Compensation is directly tied to engagement, instructional mix, and impact.
Your Minimum Salary Expectation: $40,000 – $50,000 annually
12–16 hours/week of instruction
Primarily private lessons and small groups
Developing a consistent base of players
Non-Negotiable: You must be actively building toward running and filling group clinics.
A Strong Performer Can Expect: $50,000 – $65,000 annually
18–22 hours/week of instruction
Balanced mix of clinics and privates
Clinics regularly filling with 5–7 players
At this level, you are building momentum and consistency.
A High Performer Can Expect: $65,000+ annually
20+ hours/week of instruction
Clinic-heavy schedule (primary revenue driver)
Consistently running high-participation sessions
Non-Negotiable: You must consistently lead or contribute to multi-player, high-energy group clinics (6+ players).
Compensation Structure
50% commission on private lessons
40% commission on clinic instruction
Flat agreed-upon rate for camps
This model rewards pros who build relationships and scale their impact through groups.

Qualifications
3+ years of teaching experience (pickleball or racquet sports preferred)
Certification preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, energetic coaching style
Availability during evenings and weekends
