Program Manager

Job Description GTI is a contract manufacturing partner supporting customers in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems. We fabricate custom designed, purpose-built enclosures and skids for our customers and perform mechanical and electrical integration in-house, delivering a true turn-key product to our customers. Our scope spans Engineering, prototype builds, through full production, requiring teams that can move fast, adapt, and execute with precision. GTI Values: Safey I Quality I Customer Obsession I Speed I Agility Role OverviewThe Project Manager is responsible for overseeing customer projects at the Company. In this role, the individual will communicate daily with the customer on project updates, as well as maintain/oversee project timeliness, budgetary constraints, and additional specifications. Job ResponsibilitiesCompletes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.Work directly with other project managers, and the production team on factory floor to create build plans.Develop designs based on customers' specifications, drawings, and/or high-level requirements.Develop easy to interpret build plans for factory floor based on overall design. This would include component, and sub assembly packages.Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.Interface with customers technical teams to determine designs.Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements.Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates for project bids (if necessary).Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.Maintains project database by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data.Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Masters of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related discipline 5+ years of project experience working in the manufacturing, construction, modular construction or fabrication industryProficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software.Experience with CAD, 3D modeling, and SolidWorks.Preferred QualificationsExperience with small to medium manufacturing facilities sites preferred.GTI promotes a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate against employees or applicants for employment on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, marital status, or any other Federal or State legally-protected classes.
