Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. This position covers the 2026-2027 school year, from August 13th through the end of the school year, with three openings available.As a valued member of the high school RSP SPED team, you will manage a caseload of 28 students, utilizing your background and skills to foster academic growth and personal development. Your specialized commitment ensures each student's unique needs are met in an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.Qualifications:Current, active California mild/moderate credential is requiredProven experience as a Special Education Teacher at the high school level preferredStrong knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and case management responsibilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsHigh level of organization and adaptabilityResponsibilities:Provide individualized and small group instruction for students on your caseload in the Resource Specialist ProgramDevelop, implement, and monitor student IEPs in collaboration with staff and familiesTrack student progress and maintain accurate documentationEngage in classroom management and positive behavior supportsCollaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student successEnjoy competitive pay in the range of $40–$55 per hour and be part of a contract position that allows you to focus on impactful teaching without long-term commitment outside of the school year.Make your expertise count in a role where your dedication truly matters.
