Security Supervisor

*Job Summary* Position Overview ​We are seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Ocala warehouse and truck gate facility. This role is critical in maintaining the security, flow, and safety of the site, ensuring that all inbound and outbound traffic is processed efficiently and according to protocol. ​Key Responsibilities ​Gate Management: Oversee the check-in/check-out process for all truck traffic, ensuring accurate logging of bills of lading (BOLs), seal numbers, and trailer inspections. ​Team Leadership: Supervise on-site personnel, manage scheduling, and provide real-time coaching to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. ​Site Safety & Security: Conduct regular perimeter checks and monitor surveillance systems to maintain a secure environment for personnel and cargo. ​Operational Flow: Coordinate with warehouse dispatch and yard spotters to minimize gate congestion and ensure timely dock assignments. ​Reporting: Maintain detailed daily activity reports (DARs) and escalate any facility or mechanical issues to upper management immediately. ​Qualifications ​Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in security leadership, logistics supervision, or warehouse operations. ​Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. ​Technical Proficiency: Ability to use gate management software and standard office suites (Microsoft Word/Excel). ​Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and the ability to work flexible shifts if necessary. ​Professionalism: Ability to remain calm and authoritative in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment. ​Requirements ​Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods. ​Must pass a background check and drug screening. ​Strong knowledge of logistics safety protocols and trailer/container security standards.
