Controller - Multi Unit, Multi-Service

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where change is the only constant?This is Temporary remote position and can office anywhere in the United StatesSodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Multi-Unit Controller who will partner closely with our Unit Operations Managers to oversee financial matters for our growing portfolio of accounts.This Controller will provide unit finance support for weekly flash projections, participation in final budget reviews, forecast updates, period close, and ad hoc reporting (daily, weekly and monthly). They will serve as the primary point of contact for the unit for finance questions and concerns. The Controller will ensure weekly and monthly financial reports are complete and results and detailed variance explanations are submitted within specific deadlines.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Monitor and analyze financial data on a weekly basis Complete journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and transfers Lead an accurate and efficient month-end close process Ensure accurate and timely of reporting of financial reporting and assist with variance analysis Proactively manage accounts receivable and aging as well as accounts payable Oversee preparation of client invoicing and financial reporting, reviewing for accuracy Manage client payment processing, including cost center creation and intercompany payments Manage purchase card program ensuring adherence to company policies Work cross functionally with sales and operations teams to maintain live projections of full P&L Help create and automate financial models Apply GAAP and objective accounting judgment to knowledge of contractual agreements and company policy Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities Work proactively to prevent problems, and identify and implement innovative solutionAd hoc reporting and data analysis as required.Financial Projects as assignedThe ideal candidate will have the following skills: Ability to work independently and manage overlapping workflows Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Excel & Google sheets and comfortable using both Microsoft and Google suites Demonstrated ability to learn and optimize finance/accounting systems (familiarity with Essbase, Power BI, and SAP a plus) We offer a full array of benefits, including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K, and access to ongoing training, and development programs, tuition reimbursement, plus health and wellness programs.What We OfferSodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
