PT Program Assistant - Mentorship

Mpowerd is seeking a PT Volunteer Program Manager to help coordinate and administer the MOMentum Mentorship Program. This individual will play an important role in ensuring mentors and mothers have a meaningful and well-supported mentorship experience.The Program Manager will oversee program logistics, assist with mentor-mentee matching, coordinate group learning sessions, and manage systems that support engagement and feedback. This is a remote volunteer role that works closely with Mpowerd leadership to steward and strengthen the program.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram AdministrationManage mentor and mentee application processesReview applications and assist with thoughtful mentor-mentee matchingMaintain participant records and program tracking systemsHelp refine program documentation and volunteer role descriptionsMentor & Participant SupportAssist with onboarding mentors and mentees into the programServe as a point of contact for general program questionsMonitor mentorship relationships and provide support when neededVirtual Learning & Mentoring SessionsCoordinate twice-monthly virtual learning and mentoring sessionsSchedule speakers or facilitators for group discussionsManage meeting logistics including scheduling, invitations, and remindersMentor EngagementFacilitate quarterly mentor gatherings to support connection, encouragement, and learningEncourage ongoing mentor engagement and participationCelebrate milestones and recognize volunteer contributionsProgram Evaluation & ImprovementAdminister participant surveys and program assessmentsTrack participation and engagementProvide insights and recommendations to help strengthen program impactIdeal Skills & ExperienceProgram coordination, project management, or volunteer managementStrong organizational and administrative skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesExperience coordinating virtual meetings or eventsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentExperience working with mentorship programs, nonprofits, or community initiatives is a plusFaith & Mission AlignmentBecause Mpowerd is a Christ-centered organization, this role supports a program that incorporates faith-based encouragement and mentorship.Preferred candidates are women of faith who:Have a heart for serving and supporting other womenRespect the Biblical model of mentorship reflected in Titus 2Are comfortable supporting a program that integrates faith and personal growthPersonal QualitiesCompassionate and encouragingOrganized and detail-orientedA strong communicatorPassionate about strengthening families and empowering womenMission-aligned with the values and purpose of MpowerdTime CommitmentApproximately 5–10 hours per monthFlexible scheduling with occasional evening virtual sessionsFully remoteWhy Volunteer With Mpowerd?By serving in this role, you will help cultivate relationships that empower single mothers to grow spiritually, emotionally, and practically.
