Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Electrical Systems Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Bothell or Marysville, WA or Denton, TX. We’re ideally looking for applicants to have a solid background in Aerospace.Pay Range: $52-$72/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Summary:Lead the design, development, certification, and integration of aircraft interior electrical systems for Commercial, VIP, and Special Mission aircraft. Ensure high-quality engineering deliverables are completed on time and within budget while supporting team development and process improvements.ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical system architectures and design documentation for aircraft interior modifications and STC projects.Create and review wiring diagrams, wire kits, and engineering drawings.Support system installation, testing, troubleshooting, certification, and compliance with FAA requirements.Collaborate with customers, vendors, FAA representatives, and modification facilities throughout project execution.Contribute to project planning, scheduling, bid preparation, and cost estimation.Maintain design standards, templates, and engineering processes.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and project focal support to engineering teams.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.Strong experience in aircraft interior electrical systems, preferably on Boeing or similar platforms.Expertise in power distribution, lighting, cabin management, IFE/IFC, and aircraft certification processes.Proficiency in CAD tools, OEM data platforms, and technical documentation systems.Strong customer-facing, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, lead teams, travel as required, and support project schedules beyond standard business hours.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
