Role: Java Full Stack EngineerLocation: Westlake, TX - HybridSkills:JavaSpring BootKubernetesThe Role and TeamThe Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technology discipline7+ years of software development experience on business critical, enterprise-wide applicationsStrong knowledge of Java coding practices for mid-tier applications that perform business logic and calculations. Note: This role is not for UI/Front end developers.Knowledge building .NET APIs is a plus.Expertise in building scalable, server-side enterprise applications, domain logic intensive RESTful APIsExperience leading and mentoring a team of developersExperience with re-platforming large applicationsExpertise in designing, developing and maintaining high-volume transactional systemsExperience in developing cloud neutral applications in AWS and AzureAbility to debug through legacy systems and capture current state to aid with modernizationActively participates in and supplies to formal reviews of architecture, design and codeExperience with Mainframe applicationsPublishes clear, concise and thorough design documentationProvides support for software releases into production environmentsCultivate teamwork and collaboration across global development teams, business and systems partners.Experience building technology solutions in the financial services industry is preferred.Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies is preferred.
