Manager, Production Operations
ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton is seeking a Manager, Production Operations to lead technical production operations across our live and recorded programming. This role is responsible for building a consistent, scalable operating model that supports high-quality execution across all productions, shifts, and teams.
As Manager, Production Operations, you will lead Supervisors and frontline operational structures, drive standardization across workflows, strengthen resource planning, and partner cross-functionally to ensure productions run smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role requires strong live production fluency, including hands-on multi-camera directing and technical directing experience in live or recorded production environments. It is ideal for a leader who can balance day-to-day operational oversight with long-term process improvement, team development, and organizational clarity.
The right candidate brings deep experience in operations management within technical production environments, direct experience leading or participating in multi-camera control room environments, strong live production knowledge, excellent people leadership, and the technical fluency to participate meaningfully in production decisions. Their background should demonstrate strong judgment in live show conditions, including the ability to make clear, timely decisions in the control room when productions are active and conditions are changing.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Oversee daily production operations across all shifts, ensuring productions run to schedule and teams execute smoothly and consistently
Lead daily team operations through clear communication, structured oversight, and consistent execution standards
Lead Supervisors as people leaders, building clear structure, accountability, and strong performance standards across the team
Create and maintain scalable workflows, standard operating procedures, and operating frameworks that support consistency across productions
Define escalation protocols and ensure issues are resolved consistently, with trends reviewed to inform operational improvements
Own scheduling strategy in partnership with the Global Production Scheduling Team, ensuring effective shift planning, PTO coverage, and operational efficiency
Build structured training programs that strengthen supervisor capability and improve consistency in team leadership and execution
Lead hiring and performance management for Supervisors and Assistant Production Directors, supporting team growth and long-term capability building
Monitor quality and operational performance trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes that strengthen execution
Coordinate across departments to remove blockers, improve communication, and strengthen end-to-end production workflows
Partner with Studio Operations to ensure studio readiness, operational uptime, and seamless support for productions
Manage relationships with mid-level stakeholders and ensure communication standards are clear, consistent, and effective across teams
Optimize tools, workflows, and team processes, driving adoption and continuous improvement across Production Operations
Analyze operational trends and report performance insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
Provide steady control room leadership during live and recorded productions, supporting clear communication, timely decision-making, and consistent execution under active show conditions
Build consistency across all productions through strong systems, standards, and execution
Develop scalable workflows and SOPs that support operational excellence as the business grows
Lead Supervisors as managers and decision-makers, not just operators
Drive efficiency, quality, accountability, and cross-functional alignment across Production Operations
Ensure strong technical execution across multi-camera and live production environments
Strengthen control room leadership, decision-making, and communication standards during active productions
Production operations run consistently and effectively without dependency on individual team members
Supervisors lead autonomously, make strong decisions, and manage performance with confidence
Teams operate within a clear structure, with strong training, communication, and accountability
SOPs and workflows are documented, adopted, and continuously improved
Operational quality, efficiency, and readiness improve over time through better planning, leadership, and execution
Technical production execution is consistent, reliable, and aligned across live and recorded programming
Control room decision-making is clear, timely, and effective during active productions
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
7+ years of experience in operations management, ideally within a live broadcast, studio, or technical production environment
Hands-on experience with multi-camera directing and technical directing in live or recorded production environments
Demonstrated control room leadership, with sound judgment under live show conditions and the ability to make clear, timely decisions during active productions
Strong technical production background and understanding of live production workflows
Technical fluency sufficient to participate meaningfully in production discussions, troubleshoot operational issues, and partner effectively with technical teams
Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Proven ability to build structure, improve workflows, and lead operational change
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions
Experience developing teams through coaching, training, performance management, and clear accountability
Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and excellent attention to detail
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and media production tools and systems

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$139,900-$171,850 USD
