Assembler (Sub-Zero) - 2nd shift

The Assembler position will support department goals regarding quality and quantity of production in a safe and respectful manner. Specific tasks may vary at different workstation assignments and as different product models are manufactured.ResponsibilitiesAssemble parts per work instruction into high quality product utilizing tools and fixturesUtilize test equipment to ensure product is assembled correctly per quality expectations and other standardsVisually inspect parts and product for defects such as scratches, dents, slugs, pinched wires, etc.Utilize workstation computer to read schedule, match parts to work orders, view work instructions, scan parts into inventory software, etc.Adhere to safety standardsUphold quality expectationsTrain employees on procedures and techniquesAssist in defining work instructionsHousekeeping and workstation organization tasksOther duties as assignedShift Schedule2nd shift hours are normally Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 9:30pm3rd shift hours are normally Sunday - Thursday, 9:30pm - 5:30amEmployees must be available to also work 3rd shift due to unexpected shift assignment changes. This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. A negative drug/alcohol test result is required for employment. Refusal to take the test or a positive result may disqualify a candidate from further consideration. All drug testing will be conducted in accordance with federal and state laws.
