Consultant II

It is an ideal opportunity for a motivated professional who wants to grow, contribute, and build a strong foundation for advancement.What You Will Do:Works on cybersecurity project tasks with other team members to ensure quality services are delivered on schedule and within available budget to meet customer requirements.Provides frequent status updates to a task lead and/or a project manager.Review project plans to understand the scope, schedule and assigned work.Participate in client and project team meetings.Assist with research and data analysis, including assisting with conducting customer or stakeholder analyses, cybersecurity assessments, and control reviews.Prepare written documents, reports, and presentations.Assist with giving oral presentations to clients.Track and accurately report hours spent on projects.Work with individuals at all levels, provide input to reports and other deliverables, execute multiple assignments, meet agreed deadlines, and adjust to changing client demands.Perform quality assurance on project deliverables.Support cybersecurity consulting activities such as risk assessments, policy/procedure reviews, gap assessments, and documentation of findings and recommendations.* Demonstrate a firm understanding of business and cybersecurity principles to formulate opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiencies.What You Will Need:Education and Experience2-4 years of relevant professional experienceMust have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceAbility to obtain security clearance.Ability to obtain U.S. Passport.While the position is remote, regular travel (50%+) to client sites and project locations is a core part of the role.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to gain, retain and illustrate comprehension of learned technical knowledgeAbility to actively listen to the needs of our clients by receiving information shared, determining the context of the information provided, and assessing the information both qualitatively and quantitatively to form an opinion on information sharedOpenly accept change as part of business evolution to meet the needs of our clients and supports itPossess a firm understanding of key performance indicators and their significance to the business, and takes action to drive resultsAbility to utilize established rapport with existing clients to identify and generate new business opportunities for current and/or additional servicesMust take responsibility for actions and behaviorsMust acknowledge and learn from mistakesMust understand assigned responsibilities and hold themself accountable for keeping commitmentsMust be dependable and consistentMust actively participate in daily activitiesAbility to produce the expected quantity and quality of work.Must consistently complete work assignments utilizing intermediate time management skillsWorking knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management SystemSalary:$67k - $75kCountry Requirements:US Citizenship required for roles supporting government contractsReporting Relationships:Reports to a manager, director, or executive level position
